Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Dapur Hemat AI mobile app (the “App”), its backend service and this website handle your information: what is processed, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the choices you have. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to PT Pro Teknologi Artifisial, the developer of the App.

At a glance

• No account or login. We do not ask for your email, phone number or password.
• Your GPS coordinates never leave your phone. The App only uses them on the device to find the nearest city.
• Your recipes, plans, shopping lists, name and preferences are saved on your device.
• When you use AI features, the details needed to create recipes are sent to our server and our AI provider. These include your city, servings, allergies, diet, taste, budget limits, the ingredients you type and your chat messages. This data is processed and then discarded. It is not linked to your identity.
• We never sell your data.

1. Who we are

Dapur Hemat AI is developed and published by PT Pro Teknologi Artifisial (the “developer”), located in Indonesia. We are responsible for the processing described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at hello@proai-tech.com.

2. Data stored on your device

The App stores your data in its private storage on your phone, so it keeps working between sessions and offline. This data stays on your device unless a feature described in section 4 sends part of it to our server.

• Profile: the display name you enter (optional, used only for greetings and never sent to our server), your selected city and province, and your budget amount and period.
• Preferences: servings, mealtimes, allergies (including any custom allergies you type), diets, spice level, favourite flavours and cuisines, and liked or avoided ingredients.
• Kitchen details: fridge, freezer and pantry size, how often you shop, and the home stock list you enter.
• Content: recipes, saved recipes, meal plans, saved plans, shopping lists, ingredients you marked as owned, your recipe ratings, your cooking history, and your AI Chef chat history (up to the last 60 messages).
• In-app statistics: simple counters such as how many recipes you started and finished cooking. They are shown to you on the Profile screen and are not sent anywhere.

Android cloud backup is disabled for the App, so this data is not copied to your Google account backup.

3. Location

The App can use your device location to pick the nearest supported city, so ingredient prices match your area. This is optional.

• The App asks for location permission only when you tap Allow Location (Izinkan Lokasi). Before that it shows an explanation screen. You can grant approximate location only.
• The App reads a low-accuracy position once, while it is open. It never tracks your location in the background.
• Your coordinates are matched against a city list built into the App, entirely on your phone. They are not stored and are not sent to us or anyone else.
• Only the resulting city name (and its province, kept on the device) is saved. The city name is sent to our server to estimate prices.
• If you prefer, deny the permission and choose your city manually. All features keep working.

4. Data sent when you use AI features

Recipe suggestions, AI Chef chat, meal plans and shopping plans are created by our server with the help of an AI model. When you use these features, the App sends only the information the request needs, over an encrypted HTTPS connection.

Please avoid typing personal information (such as your full name, address or phone number) into chat or free-text fields. These fields are meant for cooking-related input only.

5. Technical data

• IP address: our server, like any internet service, receives your IP address with each request. We use it only to prevent abuse with temporary rate limits, which are kept in memory. We do not store it in our own logs.
• Server logs: our server records the request method, path, response status and duration. It does not record request bodies, query parameters or your preferences. Error logs may include short technical messages and the titles of AI-generated recipes that failed our safety checks.
• Recipe images: food photos are loaded from our server. Image requests contain only a recipe image ID.
• Hosting logs: our hosting provider may keep standard connection logs (such as IP address, time and requested URL) to operate and secure its platform.

6. How we use data

We use the data described above only to:

• generate recipes, meal plans and shopping lists that match your budget, city, allergies, diet, taste and kitchen;
• estimate ingredient costs for your city;
• keep the service secure and available, for example with rate limiting and error diagnosis.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, profiling or credit decisions. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

7. Service providers and sharing

We share data only with the service providers that run the App's features, and only as needed:

• Render (Render Services, Inc.) hosts our backend server in its Singapore region. Render Privacy Policy.
• Anoman AI (PT Anoman Artifisial Informasi, Jakarta, Indonesia) is our AI gateway. It receives the AI request content described in section 4 and forwards it to the AI model that writes the recipe or reply. It also forwards recipe descriptions to the AI model that creates food images. Under Anoman's privacy policy, prompt content is not stored unless content capture is enabled (it is off by default) and is not used to train models. Request metadata such as time, model and token counts is kept for a limited period. Anoman AI Privacy Policy.
• AI model providers chosen through Anoman (currently a Google Gemini text model and a FLUX image model) process the request content to produce the response. They do so under their own terms and data processing agreements.
• Google Maps: if you tap Nearby markets (Pasar terdekat) on the shopping list, the App opens Google Maps with a search for markets in your city. From that point Google's Privacy Policy applies.
• Sharing you start: when you share a recipe, the App opens your phone's share sheet with the recipe text. You choose the app and the recipient.
• Legal reasons: we may disclose information if required by law or a valid request from a public authority, or to protect the rights, safety and security of users and the service.

8. International processing

Our server runs in Singapore, and our AI gateway operates in Jakarta. The AI models may process request content in other countries, for example the United States. Where data leaves Indonesia, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards under their own policies and agreements.

9. Retention and deletion

Delete everything on your device: open Profile and tap Delete data & sign out (Hapus data & keluar). This erases your name, preferences, location, recipes, plans, lists, ratings and chat from the App. You can also clear only the chat, shopping list or saved plans from their screens. We keep no account or user profile on our servers, so there is no server-side personal data to delete. For questions, contact us at hello@proai-tech.com.

10. Your choices and rights

• Use the App without location access by choosing your city manually. You can change your city at any time in Profile.
• Leave optional fields empty, such as name, custom allergies, home stock and chat.
• Edit or remove your preferences, and delete your data as described in section 9.
• Revoke location permission at any time in your phone's settings.

Depending on where you live, including under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not keep accounts or store your requests, most of these rights can be exercised directly in the App. You can also contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

11. Security

• Data between the App and our server is encrypted in transit with HTTPS.
• On your phone, data is kept in the App's private storage, which the Android app sandbox protects.
• We minimise what we collect. There are no accounts or passwords, and coordinates stay on the device. Our logs exclude request content.
• Our AI provider credentials are kept on the server and are never included in the App.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information with reasonable measures.

12. Children

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us.

13. Allergy and health information

Allergies and diet choices (for example Halal, Vegan or Gluten-Free) can reveal health information or beliefs. We use them only to filter and tailor recipes, never for any other purpose. The App's recipes, prices and nutrition figures are estimates and do not replace advice from a doctor or nutritionist. If you have a severe allergy, always check ingredients and labels before cooking.

14. This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking. It loads no third-party scripts or fonts, and has no forms. Our web hosting provider may process standard request logs (such as IP address, time, requested page and browser type) to deliver and secure the site. Links to Google Play, Google Maps and other sites are covered by those sites' own privacy policies.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, this website or our providers change. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If a change significantly affects how your data is handled, we will also tell you in the App or in the store listing.
